Diploma in HIV and Family Education DAFE IGNOU
The Diploma in HIV and Family Education aims at providing basic and accurate information about HIV/ AIDS, sex and sexuality, family life education, alcohol and drugs and communication and counselling. The contents are designed to impart an integrated understanding of the learners about the issues involved in HIV / AIDS and behaviour modification. The main objective of this programme is to enhance the knowledge and skills of functionaries involved in HIV/AIDS and related issues. The main target groups include school teachers, NGO functionaries, para-medicals, parents of adolescents and those interested in acquiring knowledge on the subject.
Eligibility: 10+2 or it’s equivalent or BPP from IGNOU
The medium of Instruction: English & Hindi
Duration: Minimum 1 year and Maximum 4 years; offered in both January & July cycle of admissions.
Fee Structure: Rs.1,500/- for full programme
