Certificate in Performing Arts-Hindustani Music CPAHM IGNOU
Certificate in Hindustani Music is to enable the learner to receive the basic knowledge of theory and practical aspects of Hindustani music. This will also enable the learner to realize that basically there is only one music in our country. After passing through changes it converted into two distinct types of music – Hindustani & Karnatak.
Objective:
This programme is aimed at creating awareness and appreciation of Hindustani music. This will also help the learner to gain knowledge of practical as well as theoretical aspects of the art form.
IGNOU CPAHM Eligibility: 10th pass, No upper age limit
The medium of Instruction: English
IGNOU CPAHM Duration: Minimum 6 months and Maximum 2 years; offered in both January & July cycle of admissions.
